Very Necessary!! Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers

I remember Christmas 1992 when I received Street Fighter II for Super Nintendo. My favorite fighter was Guile and that’s solely because he had a move list that I could perform (I struggled for years with Ryu and Ken’s hadouken move). Street Fighter as a brand is legendary and it’s been long time favorite. The benefits of owning a Nintendo Switch besides The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the soon to be released Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is that I will have the chance to play Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers and relive my glory days of button mashing and unleashing beautiful flurries of combos on my opponents. When this drops, my social life will be on pause for a while. Quite the sacrifice that will be worth every minute.

Thanks For Your Service: Nintendo Game Boy

This was my first handheld system. Nintendo’s Game Boy came into my possession on Christmas Day, 1991 and it kept car rides manageable. Going for long journeys in the backseat of my father’s car would’ve led to staring into space and drooling for long amounts of time if not for the Nintendo’s gray bulky portable product. The first two games that I had for it were Tetris, a game that I loved but never completed (once I reached Level 10 it all went to shit!) and my older cousin’s copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Later, I found myself enthralled with Super Mario Land 2 then Kirby’s Dream Land until it was stolen in Elementary School (I might have lost it but stolen sounds way better!) Continue reading

Another Tattoo… Sheikah Style

If I hadn’t made myself clear with the previous Legend of Zelda post, then this should be all of the proof that you need. One of my earliest tattoos is a Triforce which cemented my place in the Nerd Kingdom. This tattoo meant more to me once I connected the symbol with my personal life. The Sheikah Emblem which is pretty much the Eye of Truth was used in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to see what was hidden. I’ve become better at trusting my intuition as of late which allows me to see through the nonsense that some may try and bring into my environment. That kind of vision is essential in my journey of life.

FINALLY!!! The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Trailer)

Where do I start? Where do I start? I am a life long Legend of Zelda fan and yesterday’s E3 event brought a dream to a reality. FINALLY! Nintendo dropped the bomb we’ve all been waiting for with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. I watched the trailer with a face only seen in the Pokemon Cartoons whenever Brock saw an attractive woman. I’ve been on pins and needles ever since I slashed my way through Zelda’s Skyward Sword, which in itself was one hell of a game. Breath of the Wild has breathtaking visuals and the soundtrack compliments it perfectly. Continue reading

My Top 6 Dreamcast Games… EVER!!!

I’m a video game enthusiast but more so older systems than what’s out now. I don’t own an XBox One or PS4, and the latest piece of hardware that I have is an 8 year-old Nintendo Wii and that’s because I’m a die hard Nintendo head. My favorite system of all time has to be the Sega Dreamcast. As a console, it was truly ahead of it’s time and it had a wide range of enjoyable games for all ages. I’ve compiled a list of my personal favorites. Check it out. Continue reading
